Lush - Spooky

Designed by Kurt Nischel, the latest incarnation of the Lush Spooky is like so many of our other boards - many years of riding hard has given us a shape that is driven by one thing - performance. It's taken us over a year and several protoypes to come up with this... it's a deck that does what it's supposed to and lets you get on with pushing yourself to the speed limit!

The Spooky is shortish, super stiff maple downhill deck with a monster concave. At a glance it's just like a lot of other downhill race decks - drop-through trucks give stability at speed, deep concave locks you in tight and gives confidence cornering. Look closer though, and you'll notice essential details like a wider tail for better back foot placement, and a optimized front cut-out that lets you run big downhill wheels whilst still letting your front foot get as close to the front truck as possible for a more stable ride. The deck is a very stiff, thick 9ply maple construction, giving rock solid stablity and control. Get one and scare yourself - and be confident that this board can handle anything you throw at it.
